Cage The Elephant are here and they bring with them a revolution, at least, that’s what they’d like you to think. Of course, by the rebellious standards of the punk scene of the late 70’s this is all but a drop in a puddle, the sort of non-conformist rebellion that all teenagers love; the kind that takes no effort whatsoever.
When you get approached by a crazy person expecting to get stabbed but you get your band name instead. Fast forward to the present and Cage The Elephant has released their most forgettable album since the way too noisy Thank You, Happy Birthday. That being said, I don't think it's necessarily all the band's fault. I saw Cage The Elephant live for the second time back in September 2014 in Columbus, Ohio when they opened for The Black Keys.
